harajuku
This morning a huge parcel was delivered to my house. It contained the new bubble bars from the Harajuku range! I ordered 12 to review for you guys, and while I’m working hard on writing those blog posts, I wanted to share my initial thoughts on them first. Unfortunately, we can’t order from Lush The Netherlands anymore. Just like Lush UK, it’s going to take about 3 weeks before they’re reopening again. Meaning that no one can buy the new bubble bars till then.. what an awful timing! I hope today’s blog post will cheer you up a little, and that it will give an impression of each bubble bar.

As expected, a part of the Harajuku exclusive bubble bars was launched last week in the Dutch webshop. I immediately bought a bunch of ’em to review for y’all, but I also got my hands this bubble bar — I got it as a gift from the sweet Kevin!! 🥰 I’m incredibly happy with it, because even though Mrs Whippy will be coming to the rest of the world on June 26, as a huge Candy Rain fan I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this retro bubble bar. Today I’m reviewing it for you, so if you’re curious.. keep on reading!
Isn’t this the cutest bubble bar ever? I’ve always loved these little creatures, until they pissed on my hand and then took off, flying off to wherever he was heading. Luckily this Ladybird will not piss on your hand, but it will provide your bath with loads of bubbles, color and scent. Today I’m testing this cutie for you!

Recently Lush launched 7 new bath bombs, which were already available in the Harajuku store in Japan. Last year I had already reviewed three of those (Flight, Roar and Temple in the Skies) but Tengri also piqued my interest. It has an interesting shape and I’m a sucker for sky blue colored baths, so it was inevitable that I would buy it. Today I’m reviewing this beaut!

Yes! New products will soon be added to the Lush collection. Some of them aren’t new — they were either for sale temporarily, or only available in certain stores. There’s quite some mouthcare products, including some toothpaste jellies! I already reviewed a few of those, so I’ll add the links. There’s also 7 brand new Harajuku bath bombs coming soon. These were only for sale in the Harajuku store in Japan, just like the 54 Harajuku bath bombs last year. I happen to have already reviewed 3 of them! All of these products will be main line (all year round) and available world wide.

Hi loves! As you might know already, Lush is bringing out 101 bubble bars. Better yet, they already did — in the Harajuku store in Japan! And the best news is that all these bubble bars, just like with the Harajuku bath bombs, will be coming to the rest of the world in March 2020. I’ve found some photos and information on some of the new bubble bars and decided to share it with you! Check it out and let me know what you’re most excited about in the comments.
EDIT June 19th: Lush has been pretty quiet regarding the second launch, but today Lush Den Haag (a Dutch Lush store) posted the following to their Story:
It’s Dutch and it basically says “okay, let’s be serious now. We’re launching new bubble bars soon. We need your help!” followed by screenshots of the bubble bars pictured above, and the ability the vote for them. Looks like a second launch is happening, but it’s not known which bubble bars will be released. I’m also not sure if the launch date will still be June 26. I’ve asked them, but I haven’t gotten any response yet. As soon as I know more, I’ll update this blog post!
EDIT 2: Lush Den Haag says the launch date is a surprise, but they’ll be expecting them “this summer”.
Jingle Spells, Jingle Spells, jingle all the way! In the advent calendar that I bought last week there were 5 retro products, including this one. A retro product is an older Lush product, often brought back to be sold temporary. In this case it’s only included in the Advent Calendar, I’m guessing as an extra bait for those that are indecisive about the purchase. Regardless, I’ll be reviewing this bath bomb, so if you’re just as curious as I am.. keep on reading!
I don’t know why I never bought this bath bomb, because once it arrived, it immediately reminded me of the scent — which I fell in love with a few years ago when I bought the Yuzu & Cocoa shower gel from the Kitchen. With that in mind, I ran to the bathroom, looking for my bottle of Yuzu & Cocoa, but unfortunately I didn’t have it anymore. (Imagine not knowing which shower gels you own 🙄) Well, then I should just enjoy the scent of this bath bomb. Time to hurl it into the tub!

Hi guys! Just a small update about the bath bombs that will be leaving us soon. They will be discontinued because they don’t sell well, and to make room for the Halloween and Christmas range. These bath bombs will be leaving in September, I don’t know which exact date. I’m guessing they won’t be restocked when they’re sold out. I’m certain about this list, because these bath bombs are on the Last Chance page in the Dutch webshop, but also two UK employees have confirmed this list. This list is for UK and Europe, I think for NA as well but that isn’t confirmed yet.

Bom Perignon has been laying in my room for months now. Every time I was deciding which bath bomb I was going to review, I skipped Bom Perignon. I mean, no offense to Bom Perignon, bug he’s a bit smaller and he looks pretty boring. And I could barely pick up any scent from it!? So I just would go for the colorful bath bombs. But when I recently had a quick poll on Instagram, it turned out people wanted to see this bath bomb to be reviewed. And you know it: your wish is my command. So, onward to the bathroom!
