Bath bombs
In The Netherlands, we don’t just celebrate Christmas, we also celebrate Sinterklaasfeest. Every December 5th or 6th, Sinterklaas and his helpers bring the children gifts. Yes, we don’t only have Santa Claus bringing, but also Sinterklaas. Dutch children are lucky bastards. Because Lush thinks Sinterklaasfeest should be celebrated with all the children, they’ve launched this exclusive bath bomb, called Bonne Bonne. The profits of this bath bomb are donated to Feest Voor Alle Kinderen (translated: Celebration For All Children), so they can put together gift sets and offer these to schools, so that every child can enjoy this traditional feast.
I decided to buy some bath bombs, one to review, and 3 to giveaway to my international followers! You can participate via my Instagram. If you’re curious about this bath bomb, then keep on reading.
A few weeks ago I reviewed the small Snow Fairy bath bomb for you, which was part of the Christmas Tree gift set. Today’s review is about the small Shoot for the Stars bath bomb. The original bath bomb is one of my Christmas favourites, so I couldn’t wait to try this one, and see how powerful it is in the tub. Let’s find out!

A bath bomb shaped like a bat? Need. Not that I’m a huge Batman fan, but I just love the animals. 🦇 I love a black bath bomb, because it’s often packed with other colors and surprises and shit, so I decided to (trick-n-)treat myself to this bath bomb.

If there’s one thing I’m not wild about, it’s the Lush gift sets. Often they’re more expensive than the products individually, which is of course because of the box and packaging itself. But since I don’t really care for keeping the boxes or tins, I’d rather buying the products myself. But when I saw this gift set, containing 6 mini bath bombs, I knew I had to have it. It’s such a cute set, and I was curious to see if these smaller bath bombs were any better than their original sizes. Today I’m reviewing Snow Fairy!

I’m a sucker for cute designed bath bombs, so this hippopotamus bath bomb was the first one to enter my shopping basket while shopping for the new Christmas range. It’s again a bit smaller than the sizes we’re used to; all the more reasons to stock up this cutie. By the way, did you know that the word ‘hippopotamus’ comes from the Greek word for “water horse”? Today I’m going to give this water horse a try!

I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the Christmas bath bombs being cheaper than normal. With all the price increases, it’s a relief to see some better priced bath bombs. It wasn’t long before I realized these bath bombs are smaller than the other regular Christmas bath bombs — but knowing Lush, these small bath bombs can pack a punch, so I wasn’t worried. Today I’ll be reviewing this bath bomb for you!

It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged, but I’m back! Not sure how often I’ll be blogging again, but today I’m starting off with a bath bomb that was part of the Kitchen box, the Halloween edition. In all my years of being a Lush fan I’ve never had the honors of trying out this bath bomb, so I was genuinely excited to try this one.

Recently Lush launched 7 new bath bombs, which were already available in the Harajuku store in Japan. Last year I had already reviewed three of those (Flight, Roar and Temple in the Skies) but Tengri also piqued my interest. It has an interesting shape and I’m a sucker for sky blue colored baths, so it was inevitable that I would buy it. Today I’m reviewing this beaut!

Somehow, it’s always the bath bombs that I use the most, that have not yet been reviewed on my blog. While Sex bomb is a huge favorite of mine, I found myself to have never reviewed it. Same goes for Twilight, which is an all-time favorite and my stash always contains a few of these lovely bath bombs. Lately I’ve been more into lavender again, and of course Twilight is a winner when it comes to lavender-scented baths. It’s time for a review–bring on that peaceful slumber!
