If there’s one thing I’m not wild about, it’s the Lush gift sets. Often they’re more expensive than the products individually, which is of course because of the box and packaging itself. But since I don’t really care for keeping the boxes or tins, I’d rather buying the products myself. But when I saw this gift set, containing 6 mini bath bombs, I knew I had to have it. It’s such a cute set, and I was curious to see if these smaller bath bombs were any better than their original sizes. Today I’m reviewing Snow Fairy!

I’m a sucker for cute designed bath bombs, so this hippopotamus bath bomb was the first one to enter my shopping basket while shopping for the new Christmas range. It’s again a bit smaller than the sizes we’re used to; all the more reasons to stock up this cutie. By the way, did you know that the word ‘hippopotamus’ comes from the Greek word for “water horse”? Recently Lush launched 7 new bath bombs, which were already available in the Harajuku store in Japan. Last year I had already reviewed three of those (Flight, Roar and Temple in the Skies) but Tengri also piqued my interest. The Valentine’s Day range hit the stores (and webshop) and I couldn’t be happier. Don’t get me wrong, I love the winter products, but seeing all these cute and cheerful spring products really make my heart beat faster. It’s been a while since I took a bath with Lush. Yesterday I was really craving a nice bath, so I decided to take this ‘trapped in a bath bomb’ Santa to the bathroom and make an end to his suffering. He doesn’t look very spectacular in terms of color.. it looks rather dull and boring. What’s the best, spicy shower gel by Lush? Without a doubt it’s Hot Toddy. Okay, I loved Glögg more, but they’ve discontinued that one. And since Hot Toddy comes pretty close, it’s no wonder I had to grab me a bottle of this spicy goodness. I still had half a bottle, but yeah, you know how it goes. You cherish those products, you don’t use them. But now I can finally indulge myself with Hot Toddy while it’s -1 °C or less outside.
