bath bombs

Ho ho ho! The Christmas range hit the stores two days ago, and of course I was present that same day at Lush Kalverstraat to get myself some goodies. I spotted this Amazeball, which is practically a hollow bath bomb, but with a twist. It’s packed with content to sprinkle into the bath, before putting the bath bomb into the water. My curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to take home Don’t Let The Bells End.

In the leaked photos from the Christmas range, there was a photo of this Snowflake body lotion. My Snowcake-heart was beating faster — was my beloved Snowcake scent making a comeback this year? Snowcake has always been my favorite winter scent by Lush, so a body lotion would be very much appreciated. 😍 I took a quick look at the ingredients list, to see if the ingredients would match with those of Snowcake.. my Snowcake-heart was now pounding, there was some heavy breathing, excessive sweating, you name it. When I received Snowflake I immediately turnt off the lid to smell it… and in today’s blog post you’ll read if it’s indeed the Snowcake scent!

Jingle Spells, Jingle Spells, jingle all the way! In the advent calendar that I bought last week there were 5 retro products, including this one. A retro product is an older Lush product, often brought back to be sold temporary. In this case it’s only included in the Advent Calendar, I’m guessing as an extra bait for those that are indecisive about the purchase. Regardless, I’ll be reviewing this bath bomb, so if you’re just as curious as I am.. keep on reading!

Perfect to cheer you up on a stormy, autumn day — just like the one we’ve had today. It’s was rainy and windy, so what better than to dive into the tub with this cute snowman? Today I’ll tell you all about this Christmas bath bomb!

How on earth could I’ve skipped this bath bomb? I’m in love with the Golden Pear scent — ever since the soap came out a few years ago. This gorgeous bath bomb recently became a part of the scent family, but unfortunately, it’ll be discontinued soon. Before that happens, I needed to give it a try. And to be honest, I think it’s a pretty underrated bath bomb. If you’re curious as to why, keep on reading!

Sakura is a bath bomb that has been around for a long time. It was one of the first bath bombs that I tried, but it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression. Because I’m currently reviewing some main line bath bombs from Lush, I decided to give Sakura another chance. The bath bomb itself is very beautiful, but what about its performance in the tub? Today I’ll tell all about this cherry blossom themed bath bomb.

Bom Perignon has been laying in my room for months now. Every time I was deciding which bath bomb I was going to review, I skipped Bom Perignon. I mean, no offense to Bom Perignon, bug he’s a bit smaller and he looks pretty boring. And I could barely pick up any scent from it!? So I just would go for the colorful bath bombs. But when I recently had a quick poll on Instagram, it turned out people wanted to see this bath bomb to be reviewed. And you know it: your wish is my command. So, onward to the bathroom!

Today it’s the turn of the last shower gel of the Community Favourites. Turmeric Latte is based on the Turmeric Latte Bath Bomb — one that I really enjoyed. I had no idea what to expect from this shower gel though, so it was a bit of a surprise for me. I read some different opinions about it on social media, so I couldn’t wait to test it myself. Well, I’ve used it a few times now, so today you can read MY opinion about it. 😀
