Some scents will always hold a special place in my heart. For me, that’s Sex Bomb. My first product ever by Lush was The Joy of Jelly — a Sex Bomb scented shower jelly. This scent instantly made me fall in love with Lush.. When they released a bunch of new body sprays, I didn’t have to think twice before buying this body spray. Today I’m reviewing this frisky body spray, so if you’re curious about this product, make sure you keep on reading!
The horrors of Lucky Cat bath bomb were still fresh in my mind, so I wasn’t too enthusiastic about a second Lucky Cat product. The bubble bar has the exact same look and size as the bath bomb, which makes it even harder to not be biased. I decided to buy it anyway, I had to give it another chance! I love cats and I love pink, so this one HAS to be a hit, right?

When I was looking through the reviews on my blog, I noticed there are some main range bath bombs that I’ve never reviewed yet. I reviewed some of them in Dutch, but that was years ago. After all the Harajuku bath bombs, I felt like I needed to review the main range bath bombs as well, so I immediately did a bit of a shopping. I bought a bunch of classics and today I’ll start with my review on Sex Bomb — my favorite scent by Lush!

It’s time for a perfume blog post! I actually only buy body sprays from Lush, but when I was in Liverpool I got a perfume consult from one of the lovely employees there. It wasn’t my intention to buy a perfume, but because I’m such an awkward penguin who didn’t want to walk away empty-handed after the employee consulted me for 30 minutes, I bought something anyway. Otherwise I would feel so guilty towards the employee 🤦🏻♀️ (Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this, lol) After smelling all kinds of complex Lush perfumes for about 30 minutes, I decided to just buy the first one I liked, and that happened to be Love. And today, I will tell you all about Love.

I remember it like yesterday. I’m talking 2011, when I did a beauty swap with some (basically exchanging packages filled with shit you wouldn’t use) and the girl who I swapped with, put a Lush product in it. It was a funny, wobbly jelly, named Joy of Jelly. When I smelled it, I fell in love. But it wasn’t until a few years later, when I came in contact with Lush again, that my love for Lush got really serious. In all those years I’ve had incredible products from Lush, but Joy of Jelly, being the first Lush product I owned, had a special place in my heart. When I heard that a shower gel came out of Sex Bomb, I HAD to have it, even if a bottle would cost me 65 dollars. Thank God it’s a little cheaper.

There are times where I am very happy with having a bath. The Easter and Mother’s Day collection of Lush both contain a LOT of bath products. And that of course means that I want to try everything! It was difficult to make a choice, and to be fair — the products are not very cheap (especially the past few months), but eventually I decided to go for Jasmine Flower. And I certainly do not regret it!
